As a marine biologist from Edinburgh, I often seek accommodations that not only provide comfort but also an enjoyable culinary experience, and this establishment certainly delivered on both fronts. The central location made it convenient to explore the charming town, and I appreciated the buzzing atmosphere in the bar and brasserie, especially on weekends. The breakfast served was a delightful continental style, elegantly presented on a wooden platter, and truly a highlight of my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at the gastropub; each dish was reasonably priced and delicious, embodying the local flavour. Though the room's high-tech features were quirky, they occasionally felt more complicated than necessary. Nevertheless, the cleanliness and friendly service provided by the staff made my experience memorable. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied, and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to fellow nature lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
